Qwant promises to be privacy friendly. Seems like a good alternative to Google and DuckDuckGo.

I agree.

Though I can't say Qwant works worse than other search engines I have tried, lately.

None of the ones I have used, lately, compare to the old days, when the Internet was better. (I need to go polish my rose colored glasses now.)
