This sent me down a rabbit hole, it’s way more musical than I would have expected!
https://youtu.be/-L7b3gi02ws
And here’s a group of 14!! pianists actually performing part of it.

I'm not sure where the score for that first video came from, but it's based on "U.N. Owen was her?" from Touhou: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIop055eJhU
I remember seeing this track in the old days of modded guitar hero, and trying to play it. Memories haha
The first video is not Faires Aire and Death Waltz
Oh nice, i get to be the one to say it - that's not the dealth waltz, that's a Touhou cover!

Ran Ran Ru is still my favourite version of it
Such a catchy tune! It sounds like battle music from a 90's rgp
I was gonna say it has Undertale music vibes but I guess that's kinda the same thing as what you said
... this seems like a job for Grander Piano
Can you time stamp where they release the penguins? I couldn't pinpoint that part.
Thank you for finding those! That was really amazing to listen to. I was also caught off guard by how pleasant it sounded. The sheet music looks like the composer thought reading left-to-right was just a suggestion that could be ignored, but it's actually pretty catchy!
“Arranged by accident”
Too many notes
What’s the history of this? Is there a wiki? I wanna go down a rabbit hole too but not finding too much lore with general searching.
