Oh, I know, I wasn't trying to be rude. I didn't want to connect being American an watching movies, I just am not American, and also don't watch movies (Two independent statements). So that second one especially makes me less likely to have seen the movies.

Alsoy eyyyy, I'm not gen alpha! I don't even watch tiktok, I'm just on Lemmy and mastodon...

The first two are worth watching if you want a kinda sorta slasher movie. Not ground breaking like Light House or Vitch, but fun.

Yeah, these movies are the definition of "high concept", like it's an interesting premise like Speed has an interesting premise, it's not meant to be overly complicated or artsy or sophisticated, but at least it's just a kind of neat blockbuster, rather than more capeshit content.
