We should be shading every parking lot with solar panels. Why the hell we aren't, I don't understand.

Basically it’s cheaper to install panels on rooftops due to less supporting structure needing to be built.

That wouldn't make the coal companies happy and they pay senators to make sure they stay happy. Or, they bail out a president after he bankrupts a casino during the casino boom and then gets appointed to secretary of commerce.
