If you watch a decent amount of youtube, remove ads is worth it imo. Maybe not $14 a month worth it, but I can't fucking stand ads.

I do most of my watching on mobile and it’s not worth it to me to do the crazy workaround to not use the official app.

Firefox mobile, UBlock origin addon. Takes 30 seconds. Or Newpipe app on mobile.
