Like with any corpo, their priority is to the company. Mainly: increase profits, reduce risk, liability, and loss.

The job of HR is to apply those principles to the workforce. They work for the company against you, just like every other mindless, soulless, corpo in the building.

The number of times I had to correct colleagues that "HR is NOT your union"
