Hi everyone this is just a simple welcome post. The community rules are simple, keep it related to Tallahassee and be nice.

So far there are no plans for the community, but suggestions are welcome. I hope to run this page in an open door and welcoming manner.

Police finally shutdown the illegal gambling hall on Lake Bradford (lemm.ee)

I saw a combination of TPD and State Troopers clearing out the very obvious gambling hall on the corner of Lake Bradford and Renfroe Valley St. They had a truck and we're loading up the machines. Couldn't find anything on the news about it yet, but I'll keep an eye out. I'm surprised the police let it operate for as long as they did.

Unrelated but I also saw a city bus had rear ended someone in front of the J. Edwin Larson Building on E. Gaines. No one was hurt, kinda funny

Does anyone know of any bluesky accounts that feature tallahassee news and communities?

I did a general search, but didn't find much.

Also any other alternative social media options for tallahassee would be cool if you know any.
