I currently work as a unarmed security guard and I work at a quiet site with lots of downtime. Once I finish my patrol I mainly sit in my guard shack with nothing to do occasionally letting in worker vehicles 3 to 5 times a week. I'm looking for a good offline Steam Deck game that will give me hundreds if not thousands of hours of gameplay to occupy my time. I'm not really picky about much I'm fine with most games including emulation.

I really wanted to play cod on the go so i looked up the rog ally and legion go, but the lack of 2 back buttons and their small size really killed any will i had with the device. It is an extremely looked over feature that could turn more costumers in for them.

Anyone experience anything similar? Game is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Any chance I inadvertently activated some setting?

Due to the high volume of very similar posts asking what r/SteamDeck users were playing, this weekly megathread has been created to have a singular place to hold this very frequent discussion and limit duplicate posts. Feel free to share what you have been playing on your Steam Deck or even post pictures in this thread and show us if you wish!

Why doesnt any reviewer mention that Valve supports right to repair? If anything breaks, you can easily find the parts in iFixit!

I‘ve been chasing the feeling I had playing video games when I was a kid. Don‘t know how to describe it but I‘m sure every gamer knows what I mean. I own consoles, a gaming pc etc. but nothing came close to that feeling when I first played on a GBA or PS2. I decided to try the steam deck and what should I say. This is the most impressive and best device I bought in years. It just works and basically is a gaming pc to go. Something I had wished for since I was a kid. So thanks to Valve for making me feel like a kid playing on a gameboy again :)
