Stop assuming just because you didn't want something that nobody else does. I never asked for sports to be shown on tv, any sport ever, but I don't go around complaining that sports are broadcast or claiming nobody asked for them, I understand that millions of people who aren't me are enjoying them.

People keep whining about the upcoming Harry Potter series and saying nobody asked for it. Actually, lots of fans did ask for it and have been asking for it for years because a series will be able to more faithfully adapt the books than the movies did. Stop assuming because you didn't ask for something that nobody else wants it.

And if you choose to watch the thing you complain about, you ARE asking for it. The minute you click play on streaming or pay for your theatre ticket, you're asking to see the thing so shut up with your claim that you didn't ask for it. If its existence bothers you so much, don't fucking watch it.

And even if nobody asked for it, so what? Did anybody ask for the first Star Wars movie before it came out?

Is it me? Is it something about the way I talk? Or is it them? Can these certain people not conceive of the idea of talking about something without being worried about it? I'm just making conversation.

I get it if it’s at a place like Starbucks when you verbally say it. Everyone has a special way of spelling their name and you can’t know the spelling based on how it was said.

But when my name is literally written out in the previous email and you are replying to that email…bruh.

Makes me want to passive aggressively write theirs incorrectly too.

It's usually entire groups of people doing it, too, which is weird cause you'd think at least one of them would have a light bulb go off and signal to their group to step aside.

Who stands in the middle of a hall, aisle, or sidewalk and doesn't move over when someone walking towards them gets their attention? Do these people also breathe through their mouths and sit in their driveways chewing rocks and drooling in their free time, too?

Whether it’s housecleaning, car washing, grass cutting, dog walking, whatever.

If you can afford to pay someone fairly to perform a service, then do it. You’re not under some obligation to do everything yourself if you don’t have to, and there’s nothing wrong with, y’know, paying people for work.

Why even fucking care? If they’re getting paid well, then who gives a shit. Work is work. My aunt pays someone $150 a week to clean her house for four hours. My mom bitches about how my aunt is lazy and “selfish”. Look, $150 for four hours’ work is almost forty dollars an hour, so it’s not like she’s being exploited - and for the love of God, what difference does it even make? Would she be moaning if my aunt was paying someone to change her car’s oil or bake a birthday cake? But she could do that herself!

We’re all short on time. There’s nothing wrong with trying to find more by paying someone else to handle something for you. You have a job, they have a job, we’re all being paid by somebody to do something.

Disclaimer: The biggest controversy in this would likely be food delivery. Apps overcharge and treat drivers as contractors, but as someone who used to do DoorDash to make ends meet, I didn’t really resent anyone for ordering food and having me deliver it - but it still wasn’t ideal. I guess the way I feel about it is, it really depends on the circumstances, but the guy who called me lazy and self-indulgent for ordering food when I had COVID, and barely had the energy to go to the bathroom, can shut the hell up.

I am a woman and I have experienced an abusive relationship but I LEFT.

I honestly don't even wanna hear it. I give advice based on my personal experience and they just never wanna hear it. I waste my time telling them how much happier they would be if they left & all that stuff JUST FOR THEM TO GO BACK TO THE ABUSIVE MAN. I find it pathetic. I'm sick of having to constantly be empathetic towards this when women refuse to help themselves by leaving. Be stronger and know you deserve better.

If you think you deserve the shitty treatment/abuse fine THEN STAY but be quiet and quit complaining if you don't wanna do better by yourself🙄

What are they doing..? I am not talking about the women who had raucous wildlives and end up not married - they were doing something. What they were doing wasn't good, but it was understandable. Like, I don't think it's good to be a pot dealer who hangs out on the block listening to his favorite tunes, getting high, hanging out, all day long, every day... But I know exactly why doing such a thing is desirable. I can at least understand it.

But decent looking spinster women... without social lives...

They're gatekeepers to a much sought after product. They don't run away to join a convent and dedicate themselves to God, they don't even have a series of boyfriends they never marry and live some wild party life...

They just go to work, go home, meet a few female friends quietly a few times a month, consume 20 hours of TV a week... and maintain a small single bedroom apartment and die.

It's offensive in an era of plummeting birth rates.

This isn't even about "wamen shouldn't have career; make baby!"

It's about being a self-isolating shut-in who lets the world pass you by...

I am sure there are guys doing this, and it also irks me, but that's another topic.

It really drives me nuts. why are you gonna get an expensive a** phone? That's almost $2000 and not get insurance?

Then they ask s*** like will Samsung owner the customer and fix it for me.

Samsung's not gonna do s*** you're cell phone Carrier is the one with the insurance that can actually help you.

What the f*** is wrong with people? Dude.

I mean, do you just purchase a Ferrari and drive it off the lot with only liability insurance? I mean, you wouldn't be able to do that.

Anyway. But I'm just saying like. What is the logic behind this?

If you're trying to save a couple bucks, maybe not buy a phone.

That's almost $2000 in the first place. You fucking dumbass get the goddamn insurance

Where I work if you’re not feeling well you can just call in sick for the day and there’s no penalty. There is absolutely no reason to come in when you are sick and yet people still do it. Thanks for spreading whatever you have around the office dickhead.
