I am 18m working on a building which was constructed in 1886 in Australia, next to it is a pub and a man who works there told me a team of paranormal investigators rented out the building and stayed for a few weeks before we started demolishing the interior to make room for new developments. I have experienced a few weird things in my stay here. We are working on the second floor of the building and everything is extremely old, you come up the stairs and there is a long hallway with many rooms off to the sides and at the end there are 2 bathrooms and a fire escape ( there are no bathrooms in the bedrooms just the 2 at the end), today I was working in the building and my 2 other co workers left the site for about 10 minutes, I went into the fire escape and just looked around, this is where I was told the paranormal activity was happening the most, nothing happened. I turned around and as I’m leaving the fire escape and entering the second floor again the toilet in the bath room adjacent to me flushed itself, there was no one else in the building at the time and the toilets are very old and cannot flush themselves. I didn’t know what to think so I left it but I must say it spooked me. For this next part you need to understand that the hotel me and my co workers are staying in is right across the car park from this building, at around 1 am the motion light outside the room went off and when I looked through the curtain I saw a woman in a long black coat standing outside on the pavement. Not doing anything just there, I am writing this while the motion light is off and I’m not sure if she is still there. My other older co worker has been working here a few months and tells me he has seen a few strange things but wouldn’t really elaborate on what exactly he has seen. I get a very strange feeling when I’m alone inside that building. I have to work here for the next 2-3 months. I don’t know how to act or if anyone will believe this but I swear it’s all true. Am I drawing parallels where there are none? What do I do help
Edit 1: a toilet role in my room was rolled out slightly on the floor when I came back from lunch, I left it there and when I came back into the bathroom it was rolled back up and placed on top of the bathroom cabinet, I did not touch it, as well the small hotel soaps have been emptied with their lids removed and thrown all over the floor I’ve been hearing weird noises in the bathroom but haven’t really thought about it until now
Edit 2: I spoke to my older co worker who tells me he has seen doors opening and closing last time he was here. Today I removed an old sealed off furnace and found news paper from 1991, and an ownership handover from 1966, both in tact in a pile of ash, as well as a dead possum or cat buried beneath the ash, and many dead birds. Many letter one of which is not easy to read as it has been charred but starts with “dear tony, thank you for your company of 35 years,” the rest is not readable but I will try.
