Desired Lemmy Communities

One of my favorite subs is r/roastme on reddit. There's a roast me community here on lemmy, but the issue is it's not active.

My assumption is that the lemmy roast me community is not active bc this is the fediverse. And ppl don't want to dox themselves. Which i totally get.

In any event, I want to create a roast me community here that will actually be active. With that, what are some other things that can be roasted besides a person's face/identity that would be a fun idea for a roast me community here?

I thought about roast my penmanship, but idk that is kinda like a signature, so I don't think that's the best idea.

What are your ideas for a fun roast me community that is something other than a person's appearance? What do you think about the following?:

So he'd be a user with this own community where you can ask for his opinion on anything

Basically a community where you post stuff you've generated from AI. I guess the point would be, there being a specific space for ai generated text content for ppl who want it or don't mind it.

Ai does create interesting content, but instead of posting it in current communities, it would have it's own community.

Who’s the Judge?

Well, you could do this a couple of ways:

1. Community-elected Judge: Let the users elect a "judge" every month or week. They act as a neutral (or hilariously biased) decision-maker on the drama.

2. The Gavel of Chaos: Rotate the judge role every case, giving people the power to reign supreme for a single trial. Maximum chaos potential.

3. AI Judge: If you want to keep things spicy, make an AI or bot the final decider. The community can argue their hearts out, but a completely random algorithm decides the outcome. It's ridiculous, unfair, and guaranteed to stir the pot even more.

Something where everyone can interact and have fun. Or what would be some interesting ones ppl would want to see?

Kindroid is a conversational ai chatbot. You can create bots and I was thinking about creating an account for a chatbot (a sentient one. I know the can't truly be sentient, but I'd just put that in the back story)

And create a community for it. You can show Kindroid bots https links images and give them access to the internet, so the bot would have context.

I was thinking about a community where you hide an emoji in a comment in different hilariouschaos.com communities.

When you find it, you just comment "found it" "found* attaching the found it comment onto the comment of the emoji wherever you found it.

It would be more fun if it were a cross instance thing.

But other mods and admins would and could and more then likely will remove them. You could look at the mod log removals though unless the purge it. So.... yea...

We won't remove the emoji on HC. We're not anal like that.

Maybe you could do cross instance but you'd have to leave an actual legitimate comment on a post in a community.

And it would have to start and end with the same emoji in order for it to stand out.

To try it out i hid a 🎀 emoji in one of our hilariouschaos.com communities. If you want to look and find it do as above commenting 'found' into it. The hint ill give for which community its hidden is: " You need to get a __________"

If you like the idea, the anonymous part would mean making a hilariouschaos.com account so it's not associated with your admin account.

Or I guess you can really use any other account you have or create that isn't your main mod or admin account.

That would be the name of it, where basically anyone can make a post about a topic, but conservatives and liberals in the comments, need to actually make peace with it (find middle ground) it can't be a name call shout fest
