Fae's also Autistic, like me.

Fae didn't know it was technically an American holiday till I told faer today for our therapy session.

Fun fact: the wife of the person that was executed became a CPUSA member (the wife of one of the leaders of the group)!

Her house was burned down and the FBI took all her papers from the wreckage, her burnt memoirs and all that, and whatever else she was writing.

All that history... lost.

The /c/unions community kept getting non union general labor interest posts and shockingly there are not really many general labor focused communities on Lemmy. So I've made one here.

IWW? (lemmygrad.ml)

So, just wondering why the symbol for the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), a union, was used for this sublemmy (sorry, don't know what else to call it yet).

I mean, I'm supportive of the IWW and am a dues paying wobbly myself. I also support cooperatives and hope to one day be a cofounder and worker/resident at one.

However I'm not seeing a direct correlation between the IWW, a majority of whose members are not in a cooperative and cooperatives, a majority of which are not unionized with the IWW, if they are unionized in the first place.
