Nine and half year of content gone, account deleted as well. I would say it is crucial to delete the content as well, since it is the content which they need to profit.

For those still deciding, this could help https://github.com/j0be/PowerDeleteSuite to make the process faster.

Deleted my 11 year old account a few days ago. I am definitely missing the endless content, but I have replaced it with Lemmy and started reading books again in my Kindle app, so I'd consider it a win overall so far
