I am the oldest brother of three. I am Not using their real names. My little brother( John) is six years younger than myself. My youngest brother(Anthony) is nine years younger than me. At the time, I was 14 years old. My youngest brother was only 5 at the time.
We would always sleep next to each other. We all had our rooms but we felt more comfortable sleeping in the living room together. Having blankets out, pillows, it was always a sleepover. We would watch all these scary movies and fall asleep.
One night, we were all watching a nightmare on Elms Street. As my parents' room was down the hall. The bathroom was also in the hallway. As we all were sleeping. I had to go bathroom. Coming out of the bathroom. My youngest brother Anthony was wide awake. His eyes widened, and he looked frozen. Then he started to scream!
My father comes running out of his room. He saw me and thought I was scaring him. My father started to yell at me. Anthony mind you was still screaming. He now started to point past us. Saying that there was a tall man behind us.
A deep chill went down my spine. I felt a the temperature around us drop. My father didn't say anything. He just picked up Anthony, brought him to the room. My father never wanted to talk about it. What he felt. I never really wanted to ask either.
To this day, I am in my 30’s now. He still never wants to talk about it. This was the first time Anthony did this. Sadly there were several more through out the years.
