MODERATORS
I feel like βfanβ communities like Star Wars and Halo have a better chance at being positive communities with constructive discussion on lemmy because the community here seems like they want to genuinely care about discussion. Those types communities got to a pretty awful state on Reddit because the loudest βcriticβ would always receive the most upvotes, despite usually having overly nitpicky and poorly thought out criticism.
r/fountain pens and the sheer volume of cat subs will be missed the most from me. Hopefully lemmy will grow to the point where troubleshooting help becomes as easy as it was on Reddit because, as many have said before me, google sucks nowadays.

I like to live vicariously and lurk in city subreddits. (Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, etc...if it's a city, I will lurk). It's a little lonely over here in that regard.
