Well, you're in luck. There already are lemmy versions of those subs!

I feel like βfanβ communities like Star Wars and Halo have a better chance at being positive communities with constructive discussion on lemmy because the community here seems like they want to genuinely care about discussion. Those types communities got to a pretty awful state on Reddit because the loudest βcriticβ would always receive the most upvotes, despite usually having overly nitpicky and poorly thought out criticism.
r/fountain pens and the sheer volume of cat subs will be missed the most from me. Hopefully lemmy will grow to the point where troubleshooting help becomes as easy as it was on Reddit because, as many have said before me, google sucks nowadays.
r/trains
r/tropicalweather
r/IdiotsInCars

r/rollerskating Also the many subreddits for the many shows I watch like The Walking Dead, Mayans, Black Mirror, etc.
Yes!! show-related ones like r/AtlantaTV for me. and I gotta mention r/NetflixBestOf
I was thinking about creating some of these communities but I donβt want to mod. So Iβll just wait lol.
I miss /r/accidentalwesanderson
Ooo, that was a good one - now I miss it too!
I Also miss r/VXJunkies and r/ThePack
r/blankies and r/AubreyMaturin, please. Also a Montana community would be welcome.

I like to live vicariously and lurk in city subreddits. (Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, etc...if it's a city, I will lurk). It's a little lonely over here in that regard.

r/personalfinance was a great one to read about financial situations and see advice given for each. Doesn't seem like c/personalfinance has had any posts for days.

There are several spider communities set up on lemmy already, but Iβd love to see them take off. Everybody tell your tarantula/spider-loving friends!
