Yeah people will downvote random shit for no reason.

They often downvote because they don't agree/can't be fucked/don't relate rather than upvoting the content/effort or just moving on. It's kinda dumb, but people are like that.

i agree: i really get downvoted for random stuff, but i always upvote responses to spread engagement..my app counts internet points but idc about those
