Ban PitBulls

Dog bite severity varies by the breed of dog, and studies have found that pit bull–type dogs have both a high rate of reported bites and a high rate of severe injuries, compared to other non–pit bull–type dogs.

Pit bull–type dogs are extensively used in the United States for dogfighting, a practice that has continued despite being outlawed. Several nations and jurisdictions restrict the ownership of pit bull–type dogs through breed-specific legislation.

Sorry, just stumbled onto this community. Is the goal to ban ownership of pitbulls, thus allowing them to evolve in nature? Or to eradicate the breed?

The goal is to stop the sale and breeding of pitbulls to have them live to old age to prevent future attacks.

Pitbulls are the sweetest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of owning, sitting, or interacting with. The sale and breeding of any and all animals should be stopped- not just pitbulls.

Let them loose until all wild dogs are part pitbull.
