One I've tried is cucumber with tomato sauce. It didn't taste so bad.

Try vegemite and golden syrup on a pancake, it works well.

My wife says it's unholy that I put tuna in mac'n'cheese.

Banana and Salad Cream sandwiches.

The Salad Cream adds a nice tangyness, you can tell yourself the banana makes it healthy, and you've got a proper student sandwich.

Works surprisingly well.

Spaghetti in tomato sauce on pizza. NZ thing, our youngest loves it.

I once had a pizza with duck on, and orange sauce instead of tomato sauce. It was actually rather good, iirc!

Marshmallow and pesto pizza

They messed my pizza order up once and I'm not entirely sure what I got, but it had chicken, pineapple and curry sauce instead of tomato. I decided to give it a taste and as weird as it was, it was kind of nice. Nothing I would order again, but I didn't complain either.

Spaghetti with the normal tomato sauce and meat balls and spontaneously decided to try it with soy sauce (sorry fellow Italians)

I like putting together cheese and peanuts. Mac and cheese with peanut butter. PB & J and cheese.

And also, I douse things I don't want to eat with fermented shrimp paste. You know how some people put ketchup or hot sauce to make things more tolerable? Same but with stinky shrimp paste. When I'm bored with porkchops or fried chicken, I just dip it in. 10/10 would recommend everyone to try it at least once. You can buy the paste from Asian groceries.

I routinely make unusual pizzas. One style we like to go with:

A white pizza with 1) thinly sliced raw green beans, asparagus, or kale 2) leftover grilled dark meat chicken or sausage to add a smoky punch 3) then usually sundried tomatoes or artichoke hearts 4) garlic and black pepper

My father just introduced me to the joy of putting banana peppers on my slices. I don't really like peppers ftmp, but damn is it good on just a plain slice.

Potatos. Was actually good.

When I get a hoagie sometimes I get both tomato sauce and honey or honey mustard. It's a surprisingly good sauce combo. It tends to take on the texture of tomato sauce but the flavor of honey mustard

Outside of Indian cuisine, the best use of achaar is on perogies.
