Lemmy posts openning links in lemmy's tab is annoying (lemmy.ml)

Hello Every time I hit an interesting post, it opens whatever web page in the same tab lemmy was opened, and thus I loose lemmy.

Is there a way to configure lemmy to open links in a new tab instead of the actual lemmy tab?

Voyager app seems good for this, links pop up in a new window.

Don't see it in the Play Store. Will try some other apps as a temporary measure before Boost for Lemmy gets released.

It's a web app but you can add it to your home screen if you go to "settings -> install".

It's really active on github with new features. Open source too. https://github.com/aeharding/voyager

Oooh, now I remeber. I've seen it but I didn't like it - looks like it's made by Apple... However I just installed Liftoff app and it's decent. Will use it til Boost comes out.

I did notice in the last update that they now have an option for a more Android-y look and feel.

My problem is that if I click on a text post thumbnail expecting it to expand the preview like with image posts, it opens the post instead

Right click -> Open in new tab
Hold Ctrl when clicking the link
Click with the middle mouse button
Use any modern mobile browser
