Vegetarians are truly the last bastion of hope for the meat industry. Once the damn egg eaters are finally destroyed, the meat empire will crumble.
I’m assuming this is referring to mass culling of male chickens, but I think this meme misses that chicken culling is done in support of the meat industry. Eggs for eating aren’t fertilized and therefore no baby birds die, they are just never born.
I think it's referring to the hatching of chickens as layers. The breed of layers has no need for males, so those are fed into the meat grinder
I think i get it. There are 2 wanted production birds, birds for meat and birds for eggs. So i take it that the lineage of birds for eggs would provide sub par meat so they get culled nearly instantly. Then as a cost of having an egg laying bird you have a dead male or two attached to the cost of the eggs vegetarians buy.
