My standard issue cat also loved the strong buttpats. She would demand I place my foot next to her back feet for leverage against floor drift, and she purred up a storm with airbiscuits the entire time.

All 3 of my cats like it but Noki REALLY likes it. I pat him as hard as you would a large dog and he just purrs and leans into it.
