Also, trust in the police is at an all-time low, especially among young liberal-leaning Americans.
You're not the only one to miss my attempt at humor. I suspect I have used a format from Reddit that might be obscure in other parts of the online world. I make a statement and pretend like it's a quote from a group or individual I actually disagree with. I am not advocating for police funding, I suggested that the image might elicit such a response from naive liberals.
