I moved here from the states eight years ago and struggle with it every day. But my wife (NDP/Liberal) lives here, her family lives here, we own a house and property here, and my daughter has a really good life. But holy fucking shit, there are certainly lines in the sand and I fear we're getting closer to crossing them.

I moved here more than a decade ago, and this place made me and my family very fortunate. I'm not even really totally anti-conservative either, but Jesus Christ are these people something else. The population is something else too, it's like everyone's brainwashed into believing they are the best thing that's ever happened to Alberta. When it's the exact opposite.
