This is wild. I love when we learn about history. The stratification of Christianity and Norse gods is super interesting. This is a couple hundred years before the invasion of England by the Danes, so I'm a little surprised. I guess this just shows that culture proliferates in all directions by itself. Fun stuff.

Also:

Yes it makes me wonder, were they trying to impress someone? Seem cultured? I wonder what their motivation was, and were they copying something they had in their possession? Seen once? So many questions!
