I have no idea personally, because I don't like 'features'. They break and cause more annoyance/costs then they are worth.
Quickly looking it up, there's a switch that triggers it. If you close the switch and force it to stay closed, it shouldn't do this ever.
Someone else on the interwebs states:
Do whatever at your own risk obviously. But it stands to reason that the switch just needs to be forced closed to make it always think you're wearing them.
