My son is severely autistic, and at almost 9 years old is functionally nonverbal. He may never go on a date, or pay taxes. That said, trashing the solid science of vaccines and wasting time dicking about and cutting grants for research does absolutely nothing to help us help him or help society better understand his condition. I'll also add for shits and giggles that he and his two older (neurotypical) siblings are fully vaccinated and currently not rotting away with measels. RFK Jr and the twit that plopped him behind the wheel of our national health apparatus are in my opinion enormous shit sandwiches.
