Trump's ratings are going to fall like a rock as his supporters realize how much his policies are hurting them directly. I saw a post over the weekend from a lady screeching that her package from Temu was being held for a $42 tariff payment but Trump told her tariffs wouldn't affect Americans... Welcome to the "find out" phase, idiot.

there's a meme out there with nancy reagan explaining that republican's dgaf about problems until it impacts them and i'm learning that it's true for all americans, republican or not.

obama's followers will continue to like him because his ghoulish policies w immigration, didn't impact them, but it impacted people like me and, you're right, that, that direct hurt has made me not like him.

on the flip side, if trumps policies end up somehow miraculously working like it did for milei or bukele; then trump will likewise become as popular as obama.
