A solution would be to have a large group of journalists band together and create their own independent media company that they control and produce their own content under their own control and away from private corporations or companies. Then have government support them as much as they support private media companies that literally just control journalists.

Journalists should be free to report on anything, everything and everyone (no matter how powerful or wealthy) in an objective way without threat of any kind .... as soon as that is lost, you know that democracy is next in line to disappear.

Make sure all the stories are verifiably false and sprinkle in opinion pieces. That works foe yahoo news. How else are we going to know how we should feel. It's not like we're grown-ups
