Why I run: because it makes me feel slightly less like shit all the time, and makes me feel rested after 9 hours sleep instead of 12. The fact that it sucks and, deep down, I feel like I deserve pain, merely serves as a motivation to get up and actually do it.
To be fair that means the education system has failed you in that regard. That probably contributes to the anti vax cult, they're simply not taught why vaccines are important and what they help prevent.

Weirdly, I'm similar from the opposite side. I can see how it tastes soapy to people, I kinda detect the soapyness too. But it doesn't ruin it for me, I like cilantro.
Candied ginger tastes like soap to me though. Fresh or powdered ginger doesn't.

Btw it also feels like shit. You're tired all the time, you're cold all the time, when you sit on something solid, like wood, it hurts because there's no fat between your pelvis and the chair, and that'll give you back pain.

This isn't unheard of, though the income figure is usually lower. In my country it's some 14k I think? The tax is still quite low for the next income bracket though.
