"To ensure the victims' loyalty and that they will perform only to the benefit of the members of the group, they were forced to tattoo the name or face of the group member exploiting them," prosecutors said in a statement.

Ugh.

I hope the Tate bros end up in the worst Romanian jail for 20 yrs.

I’ve been learning more about human trafficking and it just makes me more mad about how blatantly Tate bragged about doing this awful thing to all these people and thinks he’s above the law. I can’t believe he still has fans

So now its forming a criminal group as well? Romanian RICO charges inbound?

Tater tots will still say he's innocent because he's not in jail at this exact moment (house arrest)

A while ago, the less I heard about Tate, the better. Watching this unfold has been highly entertaining, though. I hope he goes to prison for a LONG time.

Well, that’s another gross detail that I wasn’t aware of. Damn.

It’s good that the story ends in a way that reminds you to have empathy for the victims.

What's great is he got himself arrested by flaunting it, the region is corrupt enough for him to be left alone by authorities but he pointed it out and made them have to act.

“Hey world, I’m doing illegal things, and I moved to Romania because the cops are too corrupt, lazy, and dumb to do anything about it!” His IQ and ethics match perfectly.

Every time I read the news I'm getting more convinced how evil these two are but less and less convinced that Romanians will actually get them.

I’m thinking that this may be one of those rare instances where a fairness-impaired legal system is accidentally just. This man is utterly vile, and he belongs in prison.

I'd agree, but I think the international publicity will balance out the corruption. They're going to lose a lot of face of the corruption is so bad they can't even deliver justice when the whole world is watching.

May he one day end up with a tattoo of his prison cell-mate on his butt.
