Does anyone know the polling rate of the inland mk pro v2 barebones because I don’t have a clue and I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks!

I haven’t really paid attention to new hardware, but now I’m curious. There are those insane NVIDIA RTX cards like the 4090 which have amazing performance with AI and all that shit. But why do so many people buy them? I have a 1060 and it still runs everything I want it to, never broke down, etc. Sure, there are some games which it doesn’t play at 100 fps, but I never really felt the need to replace it. Maybe I don’t play truly demanding games, I don’t know. Maybe when I finally upgrade I’ll truly notice the difference.

Anyways, why do so many people buy these new expensive cards if the old ones seem fine? I even have a friend with the newer 1650 and it seems to run worse than mine.

Should I think about upgrading or should I keep it?

I know the 800X3D is better but I want those 12 cores or else it will feel like a downgrade to my OCDs...

Hey everyone!

I've always been obsessed with PC setups — not just from a performance standpoint, but purely for the visual and creative aesthetic. You know that feeling when you stumble across a perfectly arranged setup with flawless lighting and absolutely incredible cable management?

Maybe you share the same obsession — or maybe, like me, you just love building things and getting a little bit better every day. Whether it's tweaking monitor angles, refactoring code, or adjusting color palettes pixel by pixel — that constant loop of creating, refining, and learning is what keeps me going.

The problem is that beautiful PC setups are scattered everywhere — different platforms, different communities, making it hard to find inspiration. That's why I decided to build something just for fun:

A place where the top setups of the day get featured on a leaderboard. Each post includes gear tags (keyboard, monitor, chair, etc.), but it's really about aesthetic discovery rather than shopping.

Still a work in progress — I've got a basic MVP ready and I'm now testing ideas like:

  • Tag-based filtering (#Minimal, #RGB, #DarkMode)
  • Upload flow for your own setup
  • Setup battles (1v1 style)

I'd love to hear:

  • Would something like this be fun or valuable to you?
  • Anything you'd definitely include or avoid?
  • Any UX details you'd love/hate in this kind of app?

Thanks for reading! Appreciate any feedback if you think it is usefull or not. 🙏

Wanna start by saying I’m confident knowing my way around a pc, but am definitely not a professional nor the most clued up person on components at all so please forgive any stupid errors or oversights here and inform me on what I’m doing wrong.

Current system: i9 9900k, rtx 4060ti, gigabyte gaming x z390, hyperx (16x2)gb ddr4 unknown mhz

Proposed upgrade: ryzen 9 7900x, rtx 4060ti (kept), b650m aorus elite ax, corsair vengeance (16x2)gb ddr5 6000mhz.

I am wanting to do a large upgrade, thinking I can sell the components that I’m swapping out to at least cover a little of the cost. Does this build make sense? I’m trying to avoid a potential bottleneck, I’m well aware that 4060ti is not great as a price to performance ratio, however it was a gift and isn’t exactly bad so should be sufficient right?

P.s: I’m also running an nzxt kraken z63 aio, however I lost the amd mounting bracket as I installed it ages ago, if I am going to make this upgrade does anyone know if it is possible to get a replacement for the bracket and corresponding screws?

Thanks for reading :) any help would be greatly appreciated!!

5080 is a 1440p card. Period. This is coming from me who had a 3080Ti (1440p 240hz) to a 5080 (4k 240hz).

My 5080 is +350mhz clock speed and +1800mhz memory speed and 110% power over stock (i guess i won the silicone lottery)

I am curious on what the pricing will be for the 5070 ti super... like msrp. I looked through many websites and they had different t estimates. Most said 750 but then what will happen to the 5070ti. Is the same thing as last gen gonna happen like the 4070ti?

  1. What will happen to the 5070 ti
  2. What r ur guys estimates with the 5070 ti super msrp prices especially with the 24gb vram.

Thank u

So I am stuck between choosing 2 cases. The antec c3 https://www.antec.com/product/case/c3

And the tortox curvo https://www.tortox.com/products/curvo.php

I know that the antec c3 is a good case and a lot of people have reviewed it. But I can't find anything about the tortox case. It has more fans and it looks like the antec c5. It's almost the same price as the antec c3. Which should I go for?

I have an asus tuf a15 laptop , and i wanted to change thermal paste for the CPU and GPU , i’ve bought all the equipments , but I’ve noticed that technicians change the thermal putty too when changing thermal paste .

Unfortunately, it is completely non existent for sale in my country , so it is okay if i open my laptop up , replace thermal paste and just reuse thermal putty ?

Thank you

My current Mb is nonwifi. I'm planning to upgrade it along with a new processor, however it'll take time. I really want a controller and dont wanna buy a wireless one later.

Hey everyone i have a 9 years old 1070 gaming X that i want to open and repaste.

i have no issue with that part but feel a bit of concern for the state of the thermal pads after all this time, as in they may be in a very degraded state that would have them crumbling or something, and leave me unable to put it back together without replacing them as well. (which i am not able to rn)

it didn't run very hot during that time, mainly low effort gaming, so contant high heat that would hasten degradation wasn't an issue.

is it a real risk that i should be wary of, or am i probably good to go?

thanks in advance for answers!

edit: small rephrase

hence I decided to quit, but today I was scrolling through my old photos and I suddenly fumbled across this ....

here's some of my other projects......I know they're bad, but for a 13yr old learning abt computer graphics....It always amazed me.
