Idk why it seems like mullvads severs are really slowed up showing a very less speeds, than the older times I have like 100mbps plan when the speed test are done the Thailand and Malaysian servers are only getting like 4mbps while the singapour are like 30mbps, is it me or everyone else??

I'm having a ping issue in CS2, the game is added to split tunnel. So it shouldn't be tunneled through Mullvad servers. The pings are so weird that they happen for like 10 second and then don't happen a while again. Like a round, then again. When I check task manager during this high ping, I see network tab shows around a 15Mbps of upload. Which is identical to my whole upload speed, when I check processes tab to see which one is doing this much of network request. It's mullvad-daemon, what is mullvad-daemon uploading at the speed of my upload? DAITA is off, I don't have anything open apart from Discord and Steam while gaming, I'm not in voice chat, not uploading any files to Discord. So, what is this mullvad-daemon upload then?

I have been using mullvad happily for years but for the past few days I can't search with google and youtube says I have no internet access while I am connected.

It doesn't matter where I connect. Not sure how to fox this also because I don't see others with this problem.

Do I have to test one by one, or is there a general rule for it? Especially for torrents, like, I found that download speed in Romania is faster than Sweden, Switzerland, France and Germany.

Well it worked in the first few days then it went in a refreshing loop. I can open the app, and I see the "Hot " section but the displayed coins are not refreshing like it's an old caption, old cache of the app. The other sections are just refreshing without result. What can I do ? I have multihop, and obfuscation active. Ty.🙏 P.S. Android phone here..

So I have used Mullvad for about 3 years, same account on PC and mobile, I live in Thailand.

Recently, I was unable to connect to my banking apps, tried different setting, but nothing would work, so I cleanly deleted the app.

Left it a few days and re-installed from the app store, put in my account number, and a message popped up "too many devises connected" and there were 5 other different user accounts connected to my VPN, all of which I was able to delete

Looks like my account number had been hacked?

I've been using Mullvad with qBittorrent for a long time now. But, I just found out about the configuration options in qBit (Network interface). I had it set to "Any interface" this whole time. Am I okay? I read something about that option being for a killswitch in case your VPN goes down.

i didnt like the services at all as the vpn is getting detected on many streaming platforms .now i asked for refund as i have used the services for 3 days only .their policy for refund is upto 14 days ,but i am yet to hear from them

I have no complains but I hope Mullvad becomes affordable and they help the poor. I too want to experience this but I don't have such huge amount of data to spend let alone spend in euros. I really wish that the team is listening and they find some ways to address this situation. I am willing to buy just like everybody but I don't need one whole month of usage. For me, one week or even few hours a day is enough to get going. Say like a pay as you go plan.

Hi all,

I'm recently having an issue with the desktop app. Over the past week, the app has kept timing out, refusing to connect altogether.

On top of this, it requires that I do a full uninstall and install. Now the kill switch seems to be greyed out (though I'm not sure if it should be this way since the most recent update)

Does anyone have the same issue? How do you think you could go about fixing it?

Howdy, I'm unable to access my qBitTorrent Debian VM when Mullvad is active. Both the CLI setting to allow lan access and the GUI setting for local network access have been changed per docs, and yet this issue persists. Does anyone know how to correct this? Old threads with similar. issues exist but nobody has a resolution. Any help would be appreciated!

My PC has internet via my phone with usb tethering using unlimited data. I also recently bought Mullvad vpn subscription. For torrenting, steaming etc, I am ok with just using the vpn on the PC or do i need it on my phone?

Seems a bit of a strange one but as soon as I turn on the VPN, Firefox just straight up doesn't do anything... any suggestions?

I have a home router, a travel router, a phone, and a laptop.

When my phone and laptop are connected to my home router, internet works fine.

Until I turn on my VPN. Then it's stuck on "Connecting..." for eternity.

However, if I connect my phone and laptop to my travel router, everything works fine. The only difference is that on the travel router I have MullvadVPN installed, so even if I turn off the VPN on my phone and laptop, I'm still connected over VPN.

Power cycling my devices didn't fix anything.

Also of note: It doesn't matter if I'm connected to the main router or the travel router w/ the VPN. If I open the MullvadVPN app, on either my phone or my laptop, it gets stuck on "Connecting..." regardless of which router it's connected to.

I've been experimenting with VPNs for the last few months. I've used StarVPN and Torguard as well as the basic ones like Express and Proton. Just started to use Mullvad because of all the hype. So far, I like the simplicity of it, and it's worked well for my use case - their month to month payment options are convenient and easy.

One question I have is: why is Mullvad more secure than the others? I'm not a technical person, so if you can dumb this down for me I would appreciate it. I understand the no logging concept, but are there any other reasons?
