This isn’t about winning the case,

he doesn't have one. if he was never in office, never ran for office, never was on tv, never was the 'face' of an 'international brand', and never was a public figure..perhaps. but the bar for him because he is those things is extraordinary high, and this ain't even close.

Depends on your CPU

absolutely. some cpu can draw more than the 180 watts of a 5060ti, even without actual 'overclocking', all by themselves when boosting their own clock (such as intel's "turbo power"). even a '65 watt' ultra 7 265 can get up to that.

go through their list of games on protondb to see if linux would be a good fit, it might not be, depending on their library.

you've got a nice 'short list' of distributions to evaluate. i'd recommend setting each up yourself on a spare system to see how 'point and click' they are in setting-up, running, and updating the games they play.

also keep in mind the more hoop-jumping and manual configurations you need to do, the greater the chance of something breaking--like during os or wine-related updates. those kinds of issues are the ones your friend will be relying on you to fix for them so you definitely want to minimize the chances of that happening.

several story lines, mostly in tng, refer to damage to subspace caused by warp engines being the reason for the imposed 'speed limit'

that has never stopped the local parish from doing just that. they also have people (some of whom are employees) who sit in social media and spread the political bullshit.

Easier than it was in the fabled 1950s

where a family of four or five could own a house, and a car, and want for nothing... with a stay-at-home parent and on one 'gas station' income

i always look for the 'guest' checkout option. some merchants have it, and i'll choose them over somewhere like azn if the price is reasonably close.

the wife's 20 hrs a week isn't enough to pay for childcare. the husband now works 60 hours a week (straight time, no OT), for 2 bucks more an hour than peons, not 10. now with 'family' health plan, his insurance cost has more than tripled. their combined net take-home is less than it was before. they divorce 18 months later.

sub for a month with a prepaid gift card (so no potential issues cancelling). binge for a week, run out of stuff to watch, the rest of the sub goes unused and wasted. been down that road once every year or two here.

four-day work weeks are great. guaranteed one day off M-F to get to appointments and other stuff that has to be done 'during the day, during the week'.. but the biggest bonus, perhaps, is one less day commuting each week; that's 20% less time and expense traveling to-and-from work.
