Joplin is a solid alternative. It even supports latex through a plugin. You can edit your notes in an external editor which is awesome for an Emacs fanatic like me. Combine that with a great Android app + syncthing, I don't know what more one can need.

Awesome crag, and you can camp right next to it for 6$ a night! Surprisingly not that crowded, especially the Trad routes .

Personally I registered in lemmy.world not knowing any better. I would migrate my account to another instance in a heartbeat if it was possible.

Lemmy resembles the old reddit experience so well that they even emulate the old reddit server performance in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world
