As the title says: I still don’t understand why they would introduce him only to kill him off three episodes later. I guess it built Moghedien's threat level and maybe you could introduce reincarnations that way. But still.

Tap for spoilerWhy take these extra steps if you wanted to condense book material? They could have just cut Sammy and gone with Asmodean right away.

Same here!

But maybe prolonged negotiations are a good sign in that some companies see the series getting more profitable and thus want a bigger piece of the pie (looking at iwot in particular).

I’ve been looking around but apart from this article I could only find stuff citing the same three quotes by Pike, Stradowski, and Judkins.
