I hope you're right, but I'm not going to be shocked if it doesn't happen.

TNA wants a TV channel to pay them $10m per year to air Impact, if TNA were up for sale for $10m WWE would certainly make a play just to get the media library.
I like your selections and second them. Except...
Darby Allin returns as the Joker card and wins
And we get the Darby - Mox match to crown Darby as the next star. As much as I'd prefer Page I think AEW will go with holding off until Mox and Darby can happen.
I don't about the rest of you but when Hangman is on top, my enjoyment of AEW goes up.
TKO doing what private equity does best, squeeze that turnip until it won't bleed anymore.
Also, Comcast/NBCUniversal is a partner with TKO-WWE so it's not that big a shock. It's like Darby doing Shark Week.
Piefed auto filled in that Screaming Title, I thought I had fixed it but it still came out screaming, my bad.
I think 10mm is a fair number for TNA, I don't see how going live though would help them with the budget nor do I see a network looking for wrestling that AEW and WWE don't have rights to.
WB, Disney, and Comcast own most of cable, that pretty much leaves independent networks and Disney networks as possible. The problem with Disney is that they like the rest of cable are looking to offload channels, having put their A&E Family of channels up for potential sale.
Basically from what I can tell, TNA gets a new TV deal or they become ROH on Sinclair until Anthem can spin off or sale the sports properties.
Ah yes, because carnival barkers never lie!
For AEW's sake I hope he's not, because we all know that creative control leads to "Doesn't work for me, Brother, Brother!"
Does this mean we can finally get the story-line where he goes Super Size Me and gains a shit ton of weight then loses it. That was a wild story pitch and out of morbid curiosity I'd like to see if it could be done.
Their Instagram page says Chef is not saved, but the social media pages are still working thanks to the outpouring of support and money. They are continuing to work behind the scenes to save the show.
Just to clarify!! Chef is still unemployed!!! Some press is circulating the that Chefs Cooking Show is saved. Because of your help we are able to keep Cheffy on socials for the time being but we are still working behind the scenes on saving his cooking show. The team is taking this one step at a time and the outpouring of love and donations has meant the world to us! We will keep y’all updated on the cooking show but Chef is still available to be an extra in movies and is open to commercial work! Fank yew evwybody!
Edit: My info could be outdated because I don't follow their socials, just the shorts that come through my feed, but as far as I can tell that's the last one they posted to Instagram.
I've almost convinced myself that they've actually lost the damn belt and are putting off replacing it until time to take it off Mox... which was like several months ago, IMO.
Ah yes, the good old two week build with tossed together matches that won't mean a whole lot and bringing back nostalgia stars to try and get people to buy a ticket... if people hadn't noticed before now that they don't really care about women's wrestling, surely this fast spaghetti on the wall building should let you know.
I don't watch RAW now it's on Netflix, so I'm curious from those that do... was Evolution pushed on RAW, or was it more a push for Goldberg's retirement on SNME.
When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside... Ya' gotta take a stand, it don't help to hide!
I'm late to the topic, but to me such an obvious joke. This has to be a tax scam, no way they thought they could get people to show up for amateur wrestling, not even high school gyms are full at most of those events.
True, but it was just as easy to point out it happened in the comment I was already working on and leave it, more of a PSA, maybe just for me, that if you moved to Piefed from Lemmy to double check the title before hitting the submit button.
