Right that's dumb for sure

Oh you probably mean they merge at the merge point? As they should? Maybe find other reasons to murder people, idk.

For clarification I'm talking low speed congestion here. I don't run people off the road at speed.

Also I'm glad not to live in the US where merging can be met with murder apparently

As a truck driver, I must say that when someone goes out of their way to prevent me from changing lanes in traffic, I will often make sure to merge in front of them instead of other vehicles.

A car centric society run by animals, looks about right to me

It's extremely hard to nuance any conversation on any forum when multiple people interact. People almost always assume you're pro or anti something. It's also easier mentally to reject what doesn't match your views.

Debating on the internet is useless most times to convince the other party, but I'm sure some people reading it who haven't made up their mind on the subject can appreciate a well put out idea and maybe consider it before making up their mind.

I'm sure you can lookup how to reset it yourself without a diagnostic computer. Usually it's a hidden menu accessed by a combination of buttons in the car.

From what I understood, it will be 3:45 at first and they will ramp it up eventually to 2:30 on the existing line

And who says there's no difference on screen?

Lol I guess I meant shone. Anyways, with light shining through

Well you could argue making movies is unnecessary altogether. This is art and this is the medium used by the artist.

It's not about image quality of film vs digital, it's about the feel and texture of the experience as a whole.

Just knowing there is an actual film being rolled and having light shun through it while watching it is part of that experience.

Hey truckers, random pic for attention

It would be great to replicate the r/truckers community over here as reddit is basically at a shitty turning point. I know the sub is still pretty active but I'm sure lemmy could be a new home for a lot of us. I'm very new to this platform and don't understand all of it but I'm glad I found this little community!

Anyways, see you on the road or here, drive safe
