There are directories like https://lemmyverse.net/communities but it’s not straightforward for new users to simply click on a community to join Are there any clients that have this onboarding workflow implemented well?

Good thought but this client (Ivory) shows who boosts posts and noone this account follows boosted it

On the home feed (on multiple different clients including Ivory, Ice Cubes, mammoth, and the Mastodon web app) posts are injected from accounts that are not followed, nor do they include any hashtags. How are they doing this?
