I've been a bit curious about this recently, a good start would be collecting some anemometer data at the location that the turbine would be going up, for finer details on how much power will be generated. They can be a bit expensive so i might do a project at some point making a home made one with cheap components and an open source API for extracting data. Then looking into what your build would be. Vertical wind turbines might be good for suburbia (likely what i would build) and horisontal for larger land sizes that could go up on higher poles. I still need to do more research and prep work so take everything Ive said with a grain of salt, but Im looking forward to working on this stuff over the next few months.

I completly agree with all your points.

Given it is a "beta" its possible some features like ads and better ways of policing users could be added at some point. I dont have high hopes as louis has supported ad blocking in the past.

What im really interested in is the massivly reduced friction this alows for switching platforms. If everyone decides that youtubes gone and done something bad, people can vote with their content and stop uploading content there without losing their entire following. Might finally get one of the peer to peer alternatives off the ground if enough people support it.

Monopolies are bad, having a single simple front end with a plethora of back ends might help.

I love how minimal it is, I do wonder what the optimal max message length is. Might be good to do a quick scrape of useful message text to get an estimate. Sounds like the plan for larger messages is to chain smaller ones together. Any architecture larger than that? Maybe a header that just has the hash of the previous message in the chain to form a kind of link? Or a footer on the previous with the hash of the next so you know what to expect?

From my point of view, he more argues the definition of genocide than denies it happend.

The description seems simple enough. Black metal plate to heat the water then a condensation plate to cool the waterand a few collector tubes. Could one make this at home?

Could be decent if its not the only layer of protection
