False. The naked mole rat is one of the only mammals to achieve eusociality. The others are another mole rat - and humans.
Eusociality - “true” sociality - is a biological term for animals who have evolved a tightly knit social structure such that the structure itself can be thought of as an independent animal. Think ant and bee colonies. Although rare from an evolutionary perspective, eusocial species dominate the planet.
Yes, they may be cannibalistic, coprophagic, incest-driven, wart-infested, dental nightmare things, but they’re actually really cool.
