Also, just in case it impacts anyone. Beehaw defederated lemmy.world, the instance where this community lives. Because of that, anyone on that instance won't see new content.

is there a reason for this?

[–] bmac92@kbin.social 0 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Why they did that? They made a big post about it. Beehaw said they were getting a lot of trolls from lemmy.world and sh.itjust.works so they defederated them.

Their is more to it than that, but that's the tldr.

Does that work both ways? Can I still see Beehaw from lemmy.world?

solved by redoing some preferences, not sure which one made the difference, I changed from new back to active and all the posts came back.. then changed back to new, and all the posts are still there..

onwards!

Did you adjust your language settings? If you disabled 'undetermined', most posts are hidden.

Everything is showing up for me. Are you using the app or a web browser?

Glad you figured this out. I just wanted to say that occasionally Jerboa gives me a "timeout" notification and all the posts disappear. I usually have to close the app and relaunch it to fix it.

I always assumed it was a networking issue but maybe it's just trying to get me to go outside instead.

undefined> maybe it’s just trying to get me to go outside

LOL! I resemble that remark ;-)
