Wait, you mean techie nerds created new technology without thinking consequences through and it was used to degrade, harrass, and otherwise treat women like shit?

This has never, not even once, happened before!

Why do you assume it’s women? It could also be men. It isn’t but it could be ;)

Because I live in reality, not in some bizarre cloud-cuckoo land.

Also ban photo editors because it's lower margin of entry. Those are not models in first place but VAE that modify model output. To use it you need some sort of understanding how to connect correct VAE to correct models so you need to setup tools to do it or write code. If you can set up tools you can as well train your own VAE on any small subset of pictures of any person on any hardware in under an hour with those tools.

Not that I support generating naked pictures of people but this is how it works and has always worked. It's not models ! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variational_autoencoder

Why would they be VAEs instead of LoRas?

It's also incredibly simple to use these things, you don't need any technical knowledge.

Can be also loras that doesn't change the fact that those are not models. VAE is just easier to train. Also saying something is simple is very subjective.

You're splitting hairs - they are models that change the output of freely accessible models. Just because they can't generate images without those freely accessible models doesn't mean they're not a kind of model on their own.

It's not really subjective given the amount of resources on this. You don't need technical knowledge to follow a guide that describes:

  1. Download sd-webui
  2. Copy model & LoRA into the appropriate folders
  3. Open start script

download gimp, copy picture, replace head, they should ban youtube for showing those tutorials

GIMP aren't hosting the faked nudes tho, and people that do are punished

well that's the difference?!? in the two examples?!?

Ok now make 1000 more, for 10 different women, in the next 10 minutes.

AI chat bot of an existing real person is really creepy. What the funk do you want from it anyways?

[–] Lizard@discuss.tchncs.de 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I think the model data refers to image models that you can use to create images of these persons in various state of undress.

I would have just done that for free

(In-case someone is missing common sense...ahem. Terms and conditions apply)
