Friendly reminder that people at this cognitive level make up a large portion of the lawmakers in the greatest military world power of all time right now.

Because they are voted in by people who would rather see the other side hurting than improve anything. Also, young people don't vote...

This is not a uniquely Republican problem. For example, Diane Feinstein is a Democrat.

Kekw, I didn't even say "republican" and yet you immediately connected that negative attribute with the party. I was talking about assholes in general. Glad to see that's what you associate them with.

“Young people don’t vote” is typically something people say as a reason for why progressives don’t get in.

Nobody ever says the reason there isn’t more republicans in office is because young people don’t vote… like come on man.

Bro, older people vote more conservative, younger people vote more progressive.

Also here are the stats: young people are dead last in terms of voter participation. Those are presidential elections, but I'm sure if you check out your municipal or state elections it'll be way worse.

If young people had the same voter participation as older people, we'd see way more progressive policies.

Nobody is arguing that. I’m saying this problem isn’t unique to the Republican Party, because you’re trying to imply that it is. You gotta work on your reading comprehension man.
