Does anyone know why Firefox doesn't show favicons when resolving local sites via name.local but does when loading the same sites via their IP address? Having checked Vivaldi, the sites favicons appear just fine using that.

Strange, don't notice that issue with Home Assistant locally - perhaps some issue with certs?

But if I switch to direct IP access, the favicon is displayed.

Probably comes down to a weird regex somewhere in the source. I'm on vacation or I'd look at it

Can you check your server log to see if the browser really request /favicon.ico ?

It's just Docker containers. If you tell me where to look, I can try and find the relevant info
