I'm curious about what the extension is. Anyway, if you're on Windows, you could potentially build an AutoHotkey script to automatically click that whenever it comes into view.
It was "Kagi Search for Firefox" but I realised that I don't need it to set my default search to Kagi, so I uninstalled it for now.
