P.S. It might be easiest to upload your GIFs to Imgur/Giphy and put a direct link as your post (thus embedding) as Lemmy often doesn't play nicely with them natively.

Understandable, I uploaded to like 4 different image hosts and vid formats just so it displays right on Lemmy. Thats too much effort just to post garbage no wonder this sub is barren

Yeah using Imgur is easiest sadly. Last time I tried, Lemmy just seems to be shite at handling GIFs. Might put it in the sidebar.
