Their "hate" seemed centered entirely on "bad memes" iirc, I think it was more that they were embarrassed by us kind of becoming a terminally online Internet force (because, despite being terminally online themselves, the Chapos aren't fans of the idea).

Eh terminally online comes in different flavors. Some people are twitter people, some people like the message board format better.
