Hey now! Germans created sausages with love and a sense of pride. Hotdogs require hate and poverty to be made correctly.

Plus as a German Id go with the Danish version using a pølser.

Pretty sure hot dogs can't even legally be called proper sausages in Germany or the rest of the EU. Too much filler and preservatives.

I think you can call them as you like, but American meat usually is not considered food for humans in the EU. The problem typically is the amount of hormones.
