Many horrible things that were preventable, happened.
But you know why what happened?

It was the very same mediocre electoral stupidity we see today, the precious, lazy assholes, easily-manipulable into inaction, who latched onto the murdoch/limbaugh/drudge report propaganda of the time.

9/11 was early in the Bush presidency, it probably would have happened if Al Gore was president.

There's a chance the US response would have been different, but I won't hold my breath, although it would be likely we'd have much better climate policies

We 100% would have invaded.

Would we have stayed so long? Probably, TBH. Obama stayed, and pendulum would've swung back to McCain anyway.

Tony Blair was a big "leftists" until 9/11. wouldn't surprise me if the same thing would have happened to Gore
