Buying local produce is easy in the summer months, but all the kale, broccoli, and cauliflower in local stores now is from the US. Even bins marked USA or Mexico have American produce when you check the tiny labels. Does anyone have recommendations?

Discover the fascinating world of fungi with our esteemed CDM Board Member, Rick Ross. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight and knowledge for mushroom hunting season, and we encourage everyone to attend. Additionally, Rick welcomes guests to bring in mushroom specimens for him to identify.

This lecture coincides with our new travelling exhibition, BC’s Marvellous Mushrooms, on display in the museum’s second-floor gallery from September 8th until December 9th, 2023.

Anyone been to the new Taco Bandido location yet? (they moved from being a food truck in front of Wayward Distillery into a storefront on 5th street, near Bigfoot Donuts/Guerrilla Pizzeria)
